Rules and Guidelines
The Iowa Chapter of Safari Club International will appropriate funds annually. These will be distributed through a grant process designed to support projects that fulfill the SCI mission (education, conservation, humanitarian) but are not directly SCI projects.
Who may apply
Any applicant with a project that supports the SCI mission of Conservation, Education, or Humanitarian, and supports hunter rights.
Due Dates
Grants Due – Nov 15, 2023
Grants Awarded – Dec 15, 2023
Funds Available – Jan 15, 2024
Evaluation Criteria
The applicants will be evaluated on a 100 point scale listed below by board members with the top ranking projects receiving funding:
10 points – Need
35 points – Project Description
25 points – Budget
15 points – Transferability/Sustainability
15 points – Innovation and Overall Impact – (reader discretion)
Total – 100 points
